Having decided on a miniature dachshund, I feel so lucky I was introduced to Kristen. Shortly after the litter arrived, Kristen sent pictures of Dorothy and Stanley (Mum and Dad), and videos of the puppies. It took me no time to choose “Scout”, the black piebald, and even before the puppies’ eyes were opening, Kristen and the children lovingly handled and played with Scout.
On the day I went to pick up Scout, I had a ton of questions - on vet visits, vaccinations and Scout’s behavior and nature - and Kristen answered all of them. The children even made Scout a farewell outfit (adorable), and we got to see all the littermates play in the garden together, which we will never forget.
Since that day last June 2020, we’ve stayed in touch, sharing pictures, connecting me with the other owners, allowing Scout to meet her siblings. I cannot imagine Scout having a better start to life where Kristen nurtured her early days giving Scout the best weaning I can imagine.

What can I say Kristen and Barry are the best at what they do!

When I first reached out to Kristen she promptly got back to me regarding available puppies. I originally wanted the female but really liked the piebald male due the fact that he was chocolate and I've always wanted a chocolate Dachshund.  Kristen answered all my questions as to getting a male, since we have always had females and made it easy for me to go with the male.

When the day finally arrived and we got to meet them and their pack of wieners, I knew I made the right decision to purchase a puppy from them. All the puppies, mama's and papa's are well socialized and the setup they have for the puppies and their parents is wonderful. Henry was promptly handed to me and I immediately fell in love with him!!

When we finally got home from the long drive, I just wanted to cuddle with him for the first two nights. We also have a female dachshund named Lily and she welcomed him into our home and they are having the time of their lives playing with each other, everything she's does Henry does, LOL.  Henry has been the best puppy we have ever had; he only cried for the first two nights for maybe 5 minutes in his crate and was so easy to potty train. I believe this is due to the setup they are raised in and the love they get those first 8 weeks.

What can I say about our “Mimster?” We are absolutely in love with her. We were so blessed to find Kristen. She has been awesome from the day we picked Mimi till she reached a year old. Although Mimi is absolutely in love with my husband. The whole household has her heart. She loves the kids when it’s time to play. She loves me when it’s time for a good scratch behind the ears and belly rubs. Told Kristen we were surprising our kids on our way to pick up Mimi and her whole family played along in the act when we arrived. They warmly welcomed us and introduced us to the parents of Mimi. Everyone shared and educated us on caring for Dachshunds and reading about them. Her kids made Mimi a beautiful coming home outfit. We enjoyed the experience and recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a healthy, loving dachshund puppy.

“Having Kristen’s support and guidance when I picked up Albus was amazing! Albie acclimated so quickly to our home, was crate trained very easily and potty trained shortly after. Albie also has a great temperament, which I owe to Kristen and her family always giving attention to him, he is such a good pup!! Kristen checks in every few months, so thoughtful! “.

My sister said I was 100% NOT a dog person…so of course I got a dog. Barry and Kristen were so amazing in helping us choose the right puppy, as they love their dogs and know all their personalities. They made the transition painless and were wonderful to work with. We love our wiener so much the we just can’t stop playing with him. He’s definitely the cutest, even though we’re constantly tripping over our wiener we just can’t imagine life without him. My youngest son is allergic to dogs, fortunately Ben Solo’s short coat has not bothered my son’s allergies at all. Be warned though, with two little boys the wiener jokes around here are out of control. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog. We’ve even taken him back to the farm to visit the kids and the dog herd. My sister was wrong.
